  • Helen Creasey is an award-winning quilt designer (And Sew I ….)  Quilting for her started as a therapeutic hobby after becoming a mother in 2018, but rapidly evolved into a passion for inspiring and sharing her work with others through social media. Helen’s work is graphic, modern and bold.  She uses vibrant colours, black and white as well as gradients to create interest and her body of work is both pictorial and pattern-based. She favours Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP), loving the complex look and detail possible and a natural adaptation of her architectural training. Helen will be teaching us to make her “Blooming Mandala” Quilt Pattern which won the “Excellence in Machine Quilting Overlay Award” as well as 3rd place in the Contemporary category, all at The Festival of Quilts, Birmingham 2024.
